Sacred Valley Tour Full Day

The Sacred Valley of the Incas is one of the most iconic tourist destinations in Cusco, famous for its stunning natural beauty and rich cultural heritage. This tour will allow you to discover some of the most significant sites in the region, where you can enjoy breathtaking landscapes, ancient Inca trails, and the majesty of the Urubamba River. The itinerary includes visits to important Inca towns in the Sacred Valley, such as Pisac, Ollantaytambo, and Chinchero, surrounded by mountains and natural scenery that enhance the historical and cultural experience of the journey.

Itinerary

Day 1: Sacred Valley Tour

The day will begin with pickup from your hotel in Cusco at 8:00 am. We will head toward the Sacred Valley of the Incas, and our first stop will be the Taray Viewpoint, where you’ll enjoy stunning panoramic views of the valley and have time to capture amazing photos.

Next, we’ll visit the Pisaq Archaeological Complex, known for its beautiful agricultural terraces, ancient Inca neighborhoods, and an Inca cemetery, all located high in the mountains. This site offers a unique opportunity to explore and learn about the history of the region’s ancient inhabitants.

After Pisaq, we’ll head down to the Town of Pisac, where you’ll have free time to explore the local Handicraft Market and visit the silver jewelry artisan workshops, where artisans will demonstrate their ancestral metalworking techniques.

The tour will continue to Urubamba, where you’ll enjoy a delicious buffet lunch at one of the region’s most traditional restaurants.

In the afternoon, we’ll head to Ollantaytambo, the well-known Living Inca Town, famous for its perfectly preserved Inca architecture. Descendants of the ancient Incas still live here, making it a unique place to experience traditional life in the region.

Finally, we’ll arrive in Chinchero, also known as the land of the rainbow, where we’ll explore a traditional Quechua house and learn more about local customs, as well as visit the archaeological zones that embellish the town.

The tour will end around 7:00 pm, when we’ll drop you off in downtown Cusco, near the Plaza de Armas.
