Itinerary

Day 1: City Tour in Cusco

The tour begins promptly at 09:00 AM in the historic Plaza de Armas. After meeting at the designated spot, we’ll start our journey through the main archaeological sites surrounding the city.

We’ll begin with Qoricancha, known as the “Temple of the Sun.” This was the main religious center of the Inca Empire, noted for its perfect stonework and the remains of gold-covered walls. Next, we’ll ascend to Sacsayhuamán, a megalithic fortress offering an unparalleled panoramic view of Cusco.

We’ll then explore Qenqo, a ceremonial site dedicated to Pachamama, where the Incas held offerings to the earth. Afterward, we’ll head to Pukapukara, an advanced military checkpoint that protected access to the Inca capital. Finally, we’ll visit Tambomachay, known as the “Temple of Water,” a complex of fountains and channels showcasing the Incas’ advanced knowledge of hydraulics.

After approximately five hours, we’ll return to the meeting point or your hotel in Cusco.
