Itinerary
Day 1: Cusco, Aguas Calientes & Machu Picchu
The tour begins early in the morning with hotel pickup in Cusco. From there, we travel by transport to the Ollantaytambo train station, a journey of approximately 2 hours. Then, we board the train to the picturesque town of Aguas Calientes, which takes an additional 2 hours. Upon arrival, a professional guide will be waiting to take you by bus to the entrance of Machu Picchu, a 30-minute uphill ride.
At the Machu Picchu Sanctuary, entrance control will be carried out and a guided tour of approximately 2 hours will begin. During the tour, you’ll visit the most iconic parts of the citadel, with the opportunity to take photos from the most impressive viewpoints and enjoy spectacular scenery. After the tour, you’ll return to Aguas Calientes for a delicious lunch in town.
In the afternoon, depending on your train schedule, we will head back to Ollantaytambo and from there, a transport will take you back to Cusco, where you’ll be dropped off at your hotel.
