At the end of the day, we return to Cusco to rest.
Day 2: Hike to Humantay Lake
We’ll head to Soraypampa, the starting point for our hike to Humantay Lake, known for its turquoise waters and panoramic mountain views. Although the trek is challenging, it offers one of the most stunning views in the Andes. We end the day by returning to Cusco.
Day 3: Adventure at Rainbow Mountain
The third day is dedicated to conquering the Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca), an extraordinary geological formation. We’ll begin with a three-hour hike where you’ll encounter Andean communities, llamas, alpacas, and the majestic Ausangate Mountain. The highest point on the route reaches 5,030 meters above sea level. After the visit, we head back to the city for some rest.
Day 4: Machu Picchu – Wonder of the World
We’ll pick you up early to take you to the train station in Ollantaytambo. From there, we’ll head to Aguas Calientes. Upon arrival, a professional guide will accompany you through the citadel of Machu Picchu, visiting sites like the Main Square, Temple of the Sun, and the Intihuatana. Afterwards, you’ll have time for lunch before returning by train to Cusco.
